About me
Coaching is about you as an individual, team development focuses on the team, and organizational consulting should focus all attention on the company—not on me. At the same time, it's scientifically proven that the relationship between consultant/coach and client is crucial for effectiveness within the consulting setting. Therefore, here's a little information about me as a starting point for building a relationship.

I am a lawyer by profession, since I had the desire to gain an understanding of law and justice that I could apply to conflicts around the world. To achieve this, I first had to enter the professional world as a lawyer and quickly realized that courts often bring together people whose needs, underlying the conflicts, are only partially met in a law suit. That was all but satisfying to me, and so I turned to conflict resolution in the context of development cooperation. In my first leadership role, I coordinated projects for a peace-building NGO in the former Yugoslavia from the regional office in Belgrade. These projects addressed the social, political, economic, and personal changes experienced by people and organizations in the region.
After returning to Germany, my focus soon shifted to the deployment of civilian personnel in crisis and conflict zones on behalf of the German Federal Foreign Office. I slowly grew into a human resources role and spent around 10 years recruiting civilian experts for international organizations and their peace missions. As a leader in a large HR team, I slid into the pandemic in 2020. In order to better support both the international personnel and my team in their development, I decided to complete a psychological and sociologically informed training as a systemic coach in 2021. The side effect of this training was the wish for an own professional change. My interest in supporting individuals in change processes in a one-on-one setting was joined by the desire to support entire social systems, i.e., organizations and companies, in their transformation. I have experienced various change processes in organizations in which I wondered how they could have been designed differently, even more manageably for the employees and sustainable in general. My training as a systemic organizational developer and the associated systems theory perspective have completely transformed my understanding of companies and where and how to start to make certain changes more likely. Depending on my clients' needs, I therefore offer either coaching or organizational consulting, and ideally a combination of both.
I would be happy to work with you - please feel free to contact me to get to know each other!
